Cave Rock

Located in Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park, a 3 million year old formation called, the Lady of the Lake as referred to by the Washoe Indians, a sacred location for the profile that can be seen on the formation of the rock overlooking Lake Tahoe. The area offers day use with picnic tables, BBQ's, restrooms, a boat launch and a beach for swimming and sunbathing. Grab a better view and hike to the top of the rock for a fantastic view of Lake Tahoe.

Chimney Beach

A favorite local spot on the east shore of Lake Tahoe. Off the beaten path, a half mile hike from the parking lot, Chimney Beach is on the curved shoreline with rock formations that create a peninsula into the water and a secret cove. Named after the remains of a chimney from a log-cabin, this location offers small areas of sand and large boulders to adapt as your own for the day. Hike a little farther south and you will hit Secret Cove, a clothing-optional beach.

Flume Trail Mountain Bikes

Flume Trail is Lake Tahoe's premier mountain biking trail, offering majestic views and a reputation as one of the best in the country.
